What Makes a
Better Earth Business?

Plastic Reductions

  • Eliminate single-use plastic (SUP) bags 

  • Replace single-use plastic drink bottles/cups with aluminum 

  • Eliminate plastic cutlery in takeout, especially when packed in plastic

    • or provide only on customer request

  • Provide water filling stations

  • Offering discounts for 'Bring Your Own" drink containers

  • Replace plastic food containers with biodegradable containers

    • Allow customers to use their own (BYO) containers for leftovers

  • Offer produce in bulk or paper/cardboard containers rather than plastic 'berry baskets'

 

Offer products in bulk for customers to fill their own containers

 

Offer products from sustainable vendors (Huppy, Blueland, Natice, etc.)

 

Offer food grown locally, organically, and sustainably
